In Barcelos Residence
Located on Rua do Aldão, in Vila Frescaínha S. Martinho, in Barcelos, 200 meters from the Campus, this facility will provide student accommodation for the IPCA academic community, offering prices and comfort aligned with their economic and financial capabilities.
The “In Barcelos” Student Residence was funded with approximately 2.024.610,00€ from the Next Generation EU funds, through the National Higher Education Accommodation Program, as part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). The funds were used to acquire the building, adapt, and expand it to meet the requirements of the Student Residence, which has a capacity for 62 beds.
The “In Barcelos” Residence will also make IPCA more attractive to both national and international students, encouraging more students to choose this institution for their higher education.
Future Residence at BCRIC
Located on the Campus, this residence will have 132 beds, 3 of which are designated for users with reduced mobility, along with a kitchen, study room, internet access, and laundry services.
The construction of the Student Residence is part of the National Higher Education Accommodation Plan (PNAES)/ Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
The residence is expected to be operational by September 2025.
